I (Dan) went to this pizza place when I was a kid, it was called Arturo's Brick Oven Pizza. We called it Bricks. I remember standing outside of it with my friends, the same night I got my first cell phone at 12 years old and waiting until after 9pm to call my parents because we had unlimited minutes after 9pm.

I (Day), growing up in a little city on the coast of Ecuador, would watch these movies about cute, perfect towns and wonder how amazing it would be to live there. Now that I live here, it's such a privilege to say that l'm opening a secono business in this town that I now call home.

We just officially signed the lease to take over the old Da Vinci's space — and we couldn't be more excited to share what's coming next. Introducing Farmhouse Fried Chicken, our second restaurant uptown in Montclair. Thank you to the uptown community and Montclair as a whole for the incredible support you've shown us since opening Dan & Day's just 18 months ago. We love uptown —we love living here, doing business here, and most of all — we love you, our amazing community.
